STACEY OLIKA

New York born, Bristol based.

7+ experience in the media/creative industry.

storytelling // curating // content creation // presenting // consultancy

I started off as a digital designer after graduating from the University of the West of England with a BA Honours in Graphic Design. I spent the following years, working across exhibitions, digital content creation and consultancy.

I curated exhibitions for Spike Island and Bristol Museum and Art Gallery and later moved onto to curating my own events at other art/creative venues in Bristol.

I create content that focuses on providing insight to young people on how to access the industry. I have worked with various reputable brands to host and speak at events to share my learnings. I also currently work within the Creative Diversity team at Channel 4, providing strategic insights for the commissioning department as well as leading on the events and outreach for the South West.

I am also a presenter, host and workshop facilitator. I am also the co-founder of No Boundaries, which is a digital platform that highlights regional creatives and creativity.

Alongside this, I enjoy creating lifestyle content across my social platforms, working with brands on campaigns that focus on representation in the industry and presenting across digital platforms.

If I’m not doing all of the above, I’m mostly likely thinking about booking my next flight or already on the plane.
